| Juicy issues for O's
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. - The Orioles wrapped up their workout portion of spring training yesterday with the same number of questions that existed when pitchers and catchers arrived two weeks ago. They haven't settled on a fifth starter or a starting shortstop. They have vacancies in the bullpen and on the bench. All-Star second baseman Brian Roberts still could be traded, and one of their best pitchers, Adam Loewen, still needs to prove that he has recovered from serious elbow surgery and is ready to become a middle-of-the-rotation starter. The Orioles will play 29 Grapefruit League games, starting today when they open their exhibition season against the Florida Marlins at Fort Lauderdale Stadium. Here are some issues that will need to be addressed during that time: .

WHS student enjoying time as sideline reporter
A position as a High School Playbook sideline reporter for KOCO News Channel 5 has offered a local teen opportunities to gain experience and improve skills, which could prove valuable as she prepares for college and a career.Woodward junior Mallory Ross, 17, said she has always had an interest in film – an interest that "started out as a hobby.""My cousins and I would make these stupid movies over holidays," she said. But soon Ross began to develop her skills and volunteered her talents to help her church make children's music videos. When her computer teacher Bryan Stephenson suggested she apply for the sideline reporter position, where she would get to film sporting events, Ross said she figured it was worth a shot. She filled out an application one day last and received a call from the television station the next day inviting her to interview.Taking time out from her Thanksgiving break, she went to Oklahoma City and interviewed with some of the station members, including sports reporter Mark Rodgers."It was my first formal interview, so I was a little nervous," Ross said.
Sir stars in ad campaign
This isn't Stuart's first television appearance; last October he was featured on the BBC London News in a feature about Oxford and Cambridge graduates starting out their teaching careers at new schools. It was after watching this that producers contacted him for their next advert. The ten-second endorsement features Stuart drinking tea out of a Tottenham mug and a boy teasing him about Arsenal beating them at the weekend. After this banter' the class get down to some work. He said: "It was a long day for only ten seconds of film but the kids really enjoyed it and it was a great experience for them. "The advert is true to life. I am a Spurs fan and the boy involved is an Arsenal fan. I've never actually taught him but we joke about football a lot." 5:23pm Saturday 1st March 2008 Print  Email this Comment .b_box { border: 1px solid #D7D7D7; background-color: #EEEEEE; color: #000000; padding: 5px; width: 307px; } .b_box img { border: 1px solid #D7D7D7; padding: 5px; background-color: #ffffff; } .b_box a, .b_box a:visited .b_box a:active { color: #000000 !important; } .b_box a:hover { color: #FF0000 !important; } .msg_div { padding: 0px; width: 307px; clear: left; } .entry { border-left: 1px solid #D7D7D7; border-right: 1px solid #D7D7D7; padding: 5px; width: 307px; } .entry2 { border-left: 1px solid #D7D7D7; border-right: 1px solid #D7D7D7; padding: 5px; min-height: 80px; } .b_entry { border-left: 1px solid #D7D7D7; border-right: 1px solid #D7D7D7; border-bottom: 1px solid #D7D7D7; padding: 5px; width: 307px; } fieldset { margin-top: 10px; border: 1px solid #D7D7D7; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; padding: 0px; } legend { padding: 2px 6px; color: #000000; background: #EEEEEE; border: 1px solid #D7D7D7; font-weight: bold; margin-left: 10px; } .headcell { text-align: center; color: #000000; background: #EEEEEE; border-bottom: 1px solid #D7D7D7; } .headcell a:link, .headcell a:visited, .headcell a:active { color: #000000; } .headcell a:hover { color: #FF0000; } .caltab { border: 1px solid #D7D7D7; margin-top: 5px; } .year_daycell { text-decoration: underline; text-align: center; } .year_fullcell { background: #EEEEEE; border: 1px solid #D7D7D7; } blockquote { border: 2px outset #D7D7D7; } .buttonclass { background: #EEEEEE; color: #000000; } .
Natchez pharmacy burglarized
NATCHEZ — When two men broke into Bill Ernst's pharmacy, they appeared to have only two things on their minds — get drugs, and get out. “They just busted out the glass and walked through the door," Ernst said. Ernst Pharmacy was burglarized just before 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Adams County Sheriff's Deputy Maj. Jody Waldrop said the two men used what looked like a pipe to break out the glass on the door. Waldrop knows how the two men gained entry to the pharmacy because Ernst's son had the entire place wired with security cameras. The alarm, also installed by Ernst's son, notified the sheriff's office of the break-in and deputies were able to respond within approximately four minutes, Waldrop said. And while deputies were able to respond quickly, they were not quick enough.
Hillary Clinton on Foreign Policy
But I will not be penciling in the leaders of Iran or North Korea or Venezuela or Cuba on the presidential calendar without preconditions, until we have assessed through lower level diplomacy, the motivations and intentions of these dictators. Raul Castro, for example, has a stark choice. He can continue to stifle human rights and economic freedom in Cuba, or he can chart a new course toward democratic reform. We need to engage with our allies in Latin America and Europe to encourage Cuba on to the right path. But we simply cannot legitimize rogue regimes or weaken American prestige by impulsively agreeing to presidential level talks that have no preconditions. It may sound good but it doesn't meet the real world test of foreign policy. I have traveled to so many countries working on issues involving some of the most intractable challenges we face.
Tokens 1.1
To transfer your file, you attach this token to an e-mail and send it to your recipient. Then you leave your computer running and your connection to the Internet established. The recipient -- who must download a copy of the free Token Redeemer application (which is compatible with OS 9 and OS X) -- double-clicks on the token or drags it onto the Token Redeemer icon. The program establishes a secure connection to your computer and downloads the file from your computer to the recipient's computer. And with the Tokens 1.1 update, you can now configure Token Creator to place a link to a Token Redeemer download in e-mails containing tokens. Keeping Things Easy Tokens' conveniences abound. It's handy for senders because they don't have to upload huge files to a Web page or an FTP server (or learn how to set up an FTP server).
