| Willy Northpole and the Phoenix hip-hop scene explode
The George S. May Company is going to join Magedson's corporate advocacy program. (Kushnir declined to say how much he's paying.) Basically, Kushnir will pay Magedson to reveal the complainants against the company, and then Kushnir can do what he would have wanted to do all along address them. Good news for Magedson. But not such good news for the people who had anonymously blasted George S. May. After all, Magedson will be giving them up. And if they're current employees, they're probably going to be in trouble with a capital T. Kushnir says he won't sue anybody he's learned his lesson but if it's a disgruntled secretary who called the founder a pedophile, it's hard to imagine things will end happily for her. Kushnir says he's happy with how things ended. But the incident does raise some ethical questions.

Gcap and DAB
The thread title really needs changing to "GCap to close digital radio stations" so people browsing through the forums know what is happening. EDIT 2: The reports I have seen currently read speculation but considering the sources I have seen are reliable (Financial Times, Radio Today, Brand Republic), I would edge my bets that this is sadly true. .
C.J.: We take you from dancing with Paris to caucusing with Scarlett
Bet it was difficult for David Koch to line up Paris Bennett for the opening of r.Norman's Steakhouse. "No," CEO Koch said in total seriousness Thursday at a gala attended by about 3,000 at the new Block E meat market, which includes a nightclub and sushi bar. Maybe if I start calling him "Uncle David," which is how Paris refers to him, Koch could tell when I'm kidding. Jamecia Bennett and her "American Idol" alum daughter were seriously rockin' to Erykah Badu's "On & On." Although raised in the church, Jamecia was shaking part of her body in a way that wasn't very holy. Reminded of this, Jamecia defiantly shook it again with a smile. The highlight of the evening for B96 GM Steve Woodbury, who was in the company of his daughter Jenny, was when I told him that his friends Jamecia and Paris were upstairs.
Andy Pettitte apologizes for using HGH
Moreover, Clemens has filed a defamation lawsuit against McNamee. "This has been a horrible situation for me," Pettitte said. "I'm hoping and praying I don't have to do anything else." "If that were to all die down, I think it would pretty much go away," Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. "But obviously, there is some litigation there that Andy might be a part of. "So from that standpoint, it could linger. But my thought is Andy has probably told everything that there is." Pettitte posted a 15-9 record with a 4.05 earned-run average in 34 starts and two relief appearances last season, his 10th in New York. The left-hander is 201-113 lifetime with a 3.83 ERA and 25 complete games in 403 appearances (393 starts) over 13 MLB seasons with the Yankees and Astros.
